Do you have a group that would like to volunteer

Creating a safe, friendly and enriching environment for the kids of PAL Club was the goal, and the young adults of National Community Church (www.theaterchurch.com) and their monthly Serve DC team put a big dent in the work last month for the kids of Stanton Elementary.

Hauling out extra boxes, putting up animal posters and encouraging words – this hard working group was focused on and task for two hours.  The room was transformed!  PAL Club staff have big dreams to do even more so the kids can enter PAL Club and find a safe place filled with activities and learning opportunities – a classroom that will one day serve as the home base for rabbits and birds and fish as well as curious and engaged children.
